Cal. 12ga. 2 3/4". S# 403345. Bbl. 32" with matted wide rib fiber optic low light front sight and white mid bead. The receiver is blued with a foliate scroll engraving and gold inlaid pheasant and woodcock game scene panels. Fitted with semi beavertail forearm and altered pistol grip walnut stock set that is checkered with a Fleur-de-Lis pattern at the wrist, fitted with a Pachmayer White Line vent pad, raised comb and an figured wood extension that was added to the pistol grip after production. CONDITION: very good original blueing on the bbl with some thinning and retaining approx 90% coverage with some minor handling marks. Receiver has carry wear on the lower areas of the receiver and high edge. These areas have a light brown patina present. Engraving is crisp and the sides of the receiver have decent coverage. Nicely figured stock set with some crazing to the lightly refinished wood. Bright bore with some spots of pitting towards the muzzle. (25-1273/ZAL). CURIO. $1,000-2,000.
